I won’t lie, the first few months of this really weren’t that bad. Salt Lake City hardly had any cases. Bae and I were totally fine with just not going anywhere. I had been traveling 1-2 times per month since…..fuck, Idk, since like forever. I was totally fine just not going anywhere. I could finally really focus on the present and not the frantic shit I had to do before going on another trip.
During this time, I hacked up some Age of Mythology that Bae and I played on our Macs. That was mad fun. Unfortunately I couldn’t quite get this VPN Ethernet bridge to get others to play with us. If anyone knows about this, please hit me up. Nah, I don’t wanna use that LogMeIn Habachi crap. My brother was very patient with me trying to get it to work.
We also had plenty of family Zoom sessions, too. My cousin had the great idea to have weekly family quizzes, which were a lot of fun. There were 5 groups of us. Each week, one group would put together a trivia quiz, and the other 4 groups would battle it out. They were fun to play, and even more fun to make! That reminds me: I need to get all the quiz questions/answers together so we don’t lose them. Mom, remind me to do that, pls.
This was when Tiger King was going on, remember that? We never watched it, but damn, the “fun” days of the pandemic…
