This was our first full day in Switzerland! Despite not having our bags, it sure was nice to wake up to a place that was < 60 degrees outside. Also, Betty and Michelle’s home is superrrr nice, so we got some serious rest.
Today was always going to be a chill day. I surprisingly didn’t suffer too badly from jet lag (probably because I watched “It’s always Sunny” instead of sleeping), so I was up fairly early and went outside to feel that cool air. Betty and Michelle have a dog named “Giorgi”, so we started our day by taking him out for a long walk in the forest.
Here’s the garmin tracker from that:

And then here are some nice photos:

After a delicious lunch (Betty is an AMAZING chef!), we took some bikes down to the Aare river and explored/chilled.

Then we went home and chilled some more. On a clear day, Betty and Michelle have a sweet view of the Alps:

At around 2200 this night I received an email that our bags had finally shown up at the airport! They were going to pass them to a courier, and assured me that the courier would call to let me know when they would be delivered. Welp….more on that on the next day’s post…
