Today was our last full day in the country. We decided to go to the Rhine Falls, which were REALLY cool. Just check out the video below for what we did this day.
Before making our journey, I went for a short walk around our Northern area of town. There were some soccer (yeah, I still called it “soccer”) stadiums and ice hockey rinks.
Here’s a Garmin of that walk.
I highly recommend going to see the Rhine Falls if you are in the area. It’s very easy to take a train there from Zurich, and the views are really sweet! They are small compared to Niagra Falls, but a lot less of a pain in the ass to go and see. Here’s a Garmin of the drunk walk we did.
One touristy thing we didn’t do was take a boat out to an “island” in the middle of the falls. I guess you can get off the boat and climb around a bit. It looked fun at first, but we kept seeing people go up and have fun for about 2 mins, then be cold AF, eagerly awaiting the boat’s return. Pretty sure it would only come like ever half an hour. The falls were cool to see. I didn’t necessarily need to be part of them for 30 minutes.
