Finally, it was time to go home. I’m not gonna lie, I was ready to be home at this point. I think I really underestimated how stressful all of the day trips on trains was going to be in the era of Covid. As usual, we were almost the only people wearing masks. I know most of you don’t care anymore, but we are still trying not to get Covid. We managed to avoid it on this trip, and continue to avoid it. You all should probably avoid it, too. I’m about to start signing up for all kinds of races because I’ll be the only ones with useful lungs left.
Anyway, this day was pretty uneventful. The flight was Zurich to Iceland to BWI. It was looking like we were going to have a tight connection, but they are really good at moving people through that Iceland airport. They suck at moving bags through, but good at moving people.
