Job app rejections started rolling in around this time and that was pretty dark. Everyone kept spreading covid. That was also dark. Morons tried to execute congress, or whatever. That was even more dark. This time was actually the least fun time of the entire pandemic.
People were wishing each other a happy 2021, stoked that the shit year was over. However, because everyone went home for the holidays to spread Covid, 2021 would be just as shitty. Your problems aren’t solved just because you change calendars.
At least the vaccines were finally rolling out around this time! It was SO SLOW at first, but at least we could finally maybe allow ourselves to think about some sort of end to this thing, even though the US&A was losing 3,000 people per day at this time. That’s a 9/11 tragedy every day. If you weren’t taking the pandemic seriously by this time, then don’t ever call yourself a “patriot” because you clearly hate the United States of America.
