This is an example of just how slammed the trails were all the time during the pandemic. I know it’s tough to get covid outside, but goddamn.
Ah, a classic “MiG-15 Convention”. If you don’t know why I call it that, you probably just aren’t cool enough. That’s OK, though, you could still be pretty cool. Anyway, I always liked passing by breweries on a Saturday and seeing the crowds. Why do something fun when you can stand in line for an hour to get some beer and Covid?
So this was actually an Act of Nature rather than an Act of Idiocy. We had some vicious downslope winds that knocked all kinds of trees down. Fortunately, our trees had already fallen on our house during a snowstorm in April 2019!
Off-leash dogs are always the most dangerous things I encounter when I ride. While this wasn’t a danger to me at all, it does highlight how little control most people have over their dogs. This incident really cracked me up.
