These months were kind of a blur. We just sort of tried to stay in a routine while covid blew up around us. By October, it felt like we were the only people still worried about it. Every day was an exercise in gaslighting.
The NFL came back, so that was cool. It was funny to see them brute force some of these covid games. The Broncos had to play with a WR at QB, but somehow the Ravens game got postponed indefinitely? They were just making shit up. It ended up being a pretty fun season, though, even though the Eagles were terrible. My opinion of Tom Brady totally changed. I used to think he was just a pawn in the Bellechick operation, but nah, he’s actually really fucking good at football, and being a leader. I’m hoping to watch him play when they come to Washington to play the Football Team.
Thanks to some advice from GMac, I started making cider, wine, and beer in October. This was because by October, it was no longer safe to go inside of a grocery store. Masks were never 100%, and by October, at least 1% of the city was infected at any given time. I’m not taking those chances. If anyone wants some wine, let me know.
