Today we took a FlixBus from Frieburg to Bern. We are staying with Bae’s best friend Betty for the next few nights. SOO nice of her to put us up in expensive switzerland!
To get there, we took a FlixBus from Frieburg to Bern. Once we got on the bus, things were fine, but there sure was some stress leading up to it. The bus arrived quite late to an unorganized freiburg bus stop, where nobody knew where they should be to get on their bus. I guess that’s what you get for cheap bus service…also, never purchase a seat for extra cash on these things. I paid extra money to reserve seats for us. When the bus arrived, there already was an old italian couple in our resevered seats. Like I am going to have that conversation….also, here was another stressful part of the trip:
What the Ef are those kids on the bridge doing?
Anyway, despite the early stress, the bus ride was quite smooth. Betty met us at the Bern bus stop. We went to her place to drop our stuff off, then went out to explore Bern. It was a BEAUTIFUL day, so we went straight to the river to hangout. On the way, we met Einstein.
I guess he was rejected by the University, but later accepted. Here is the gorgeous river that runs through the town:
We hung out Riverside for a bit, then I walked upriver and did a little float trip. The water was quite cold!!! But it was a good time!
After hanging out by the river, Betty gave us a lovely foot tour of Bern. Here are some photos highlights:
We even found Tom Brady again:
Also, finally got a picture of my favorite German word:
If you don’t laugh at that, you need help. Look up what it means, then you will understand why I kept chuckling to myself while the bus was on the highway.
Here is a map of our tour! See if you can find the point where I was franctically trying to find a bathroom because I had too much beer. I had to navigate another form of fake currency to use the bathroom, the Suisse Franc. They feature Slender Man on their 100 dollar bills:
After our lovely Bern tour, we hung out and had a picnic with some of Betty’s friends. It was a very nice welcoming party!
We got the Swizz Pass for the next few days, so we are about to explore the entire country with Betty! Should be dope !

André once told me that Germans also laugh at Ausfarht, and for exactly the same reason. Some things make the world a better place

The kids on the bridge were ISIS cub scouts, preparing for arrival of the coneheads from space as prophesized by that one asshole.
