If you read the Covid Blog, you are probably tired of hearing about the following, but it’s important to understand the context of this trip. For 13 months I did virtually nothing but go biking outside. I know people all say they “did nothing”, but we really did like nothing. There was the weekly early morning grocery store trip until October, and then about 3 total outdoor interactions with some friends. We went to no other stores, and did nothing else. We probably could have done some things and been mostly safe until July, but after that, if you were out in SLC, you were pretty likely to get Covid. No, I wasn’t being too careful; you were being too dumb. I didn’t want the disease, and I’m damn sure I didn’t want to spread it.
After getting my second shot, it was finally time to get out in the world again! If you haven’t received a vaccine yet, go get one. If you don’t, I literally don’t want to see you ever again. It’s nothing personal. You’re just dumb and hate America.
Anyway, finally, a trip into the wild with some of my closest bros! Click on a link below to see what we did that day, and watch some videos of our mountain bike shreddage.
